This little tex-mex dish is a winner for so many different reasons. Let me give you a few (in no particular order).
- It’s about as simple as they come. Literally dump the food onto the pan and put it in the oven. Simple.
- The dishes are minimal. All you need is a cookie sheet, spatula, and a bowl. You might need a few measuring spoons if you’re exact like that.
- There are no crazy ingredients. In fact, you probably have most of the ingredients in your kitchen right now.
- It’s totally kid friendly and customizable. My husband hates asparagus so I just leave that out when he’s eating with us. No big deal. You can throw whatever veggies you have in the fridge in this dish. Some peppers or avocado would be delicious!
I like the Mission sun-dried tomato tortillas the very best for these wraps. However; they can sometimes be hard to come by. The spinach wrap is a good substitute or a homemade corn tortilla. I’ll do a tutorial on how to make those here in a few weeks! Try a few different combinations and let me know what your favorites are!
So I’m a complete newbie to these recipe posts. I’m loving the cooking and photography aspect but I am seriously struggling to find the right content. Personally, when I open a recipe post I scroll through, oogle at the pretty pictures, and head straight to the bottom to get to the recipe. Any one else do this? Raise of hands. So you tell me- what type of content do you like to see in a recipe post (besides the actual recipe) ? I would love your input!
