This brownie is thick and fudgy and full of chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. The frosting is a Nutella frosting that is light and fluffy with just a hint of mocha flavor.
Have you ever found a treat or dish at a restaurant that you think I’ve got to figure out that recipe. I mean the stuff that you crave. That you send your husband out late at night to collect for you? Well, that’s what these nutella brownies are for me. They’re from Guru’s Cafe in Provo and they are only $1 after five o’clock. To be honest, I considered not sharing that information because there is, literally, nothing worse than showing up at five thirty only to find out that they’re sold out. But since I don’t live there anymore I figured you’re no longer a threat and that I should share the love.
So, if you’re in the Provo area, go give them a try. If you’re not in the area or are like me and know that you’ll probably save money by making them yourself then here is the recipe for you. Obviously, it’s not Guru’s exact recipe but it is as close as I can possibly get to the original. These babies got me through both of my pregnancies and my husband through his graduate program. They’re basically magic brownies.
Let me tell you a little bit about these magic brownies. The brownie is fudgy and thick and full of chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. The frosting is a Nutella frosting that is light and fluffy with just a hint of mocha flavor. Yum.
Hopefully I’ve talked you into trying these by now. Give em a try and then come back here and fill me in on your nearly spiritual brownie experience
